The Challenge
Karanikolas & Partners is a firm based in Thessaloniki offering high quality consulting and engineering services.
Before we started working together, the company did not have its own website. With the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and the development opportunities that emerged with the announcement of the NSRF subsidized programs, there was an urgent need for the business to have an online presence.
In this context, the client turned to Webgrams for the development of a modern website in Greek and English. Claiming the subsidy provided by the “Digital Step” action, the company requested the creation of a website fully compatible with the WSAG 2.0 AA standard. In addition, we were asked to create a blog section so that the client can post informative material.
The Results
Applying the latest market technologies (React, Gatsby), we created a website with headless architecture, in Greek and English.
Specifically, we built a front-end system that provided all the features a modern website can have: responsive design, offline navigation and excellent performance in Google’s Core Web Vitals.
We chose Headless WordPress CMS to ensure the client easy content management and high functionality. In addition, we optimized the website technically (technical SEO), in order to make it search engine friendly. Finally, we made sure that it is fully compliant with the WSAG 2.0 standard and fully qualifies for the grant.
Therefore, using modern tools and techniques, we created www.karanikolascon.gr, a website accessible to people with disabilities, with fast loading speed and modern design.
